Learn how to get started and get the most out of My Stats Diary.

Creating Your First Team

Add your athlete's teams to My Stats Diary so you can organize games, seasons, and stats in one place.

Teams are the backbone of My Stats Diary. Once you create a team, you can attach athletes, add seasons, schedule matches, and track stats over time. If you're just getting started, this is usually your first step after creating your account.

1. Navigate to the Teams Area

After logging in, go to the Teams section from the main navigation. If you don't have any teams yet, you'll see a prompt to create one.

  • Click the "Add Team" or "Create Team" button.
  • You can create multiple teams later for different sports, clubs, or seasons.

2. Fill in Team Details

Start by adding the basic information for your team:

  • Team Name – e.g., "Charleston U12 Blue" or "Lady Hawks Varsity".
  • Sport – Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, etc.
  • Age Group / Level – U10, JV, Varsity, Club, etc. (if applicable).
  • Optional: Add notes that help you identify this team later (e.g., coach name or league).

Once you're done, click Save to create the team.

3. What Happens After You Create a Team?

Once the team is created, it becomes a central hub inside My Stats Diary:

  • Add athletes to the roster.
  • Create seasons for that team (Fall 2025, Spring 2026, etc.).
  • Schedule matches or events tied to that team.
  • Track stats, highlights, trophies, and more over time.

What's Next?

Next, add your athletes so you can start tracking their progress.
